Surgery
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides the optimal environment for routine to specialized procedures. Each patient receives pre-surgical blood work performed to screen for any abnormalities that may change the anesthetic protocol. In addition to pre-operative safety measures, we also have the most up-to-date anesthetics as well as a dedicated anesthetist to monitor your pet throughout the entire procedure. Our doctors and technicians treat your pets as if they were their own.
Dental Care
Our dental wet lab includes an iM3 dentistry machine that consists of an ultrasonic scaler for removing calculus and tartar. The high-speed drill extracts teeth more efficiently and with less trauma to the tissue. Each patient receives digital dental radiographs to look for periodontal disease only seen under the gum line. This allows us to see tooth root abscesses, root abnormalities, cracked or broken roots, as well as bone loss. These can be very painful and lead to serious infection in your pet. Endoscopy
An endoscope is a less invasive tool used to examine the upper gastrointestinal tract as well as the upper and lower airways. We can obtain biopsy samples, look for tumors or ulcers, and even retrieve a variety of items that dogs and cats ingest by mistake. We have found items such as socks, toys, chicken bones, and even fishing line! |
