Comprehensive Imaging
Digital Radiographs
Our imaging services are superior to traditional radiograph methods. With digital x-rays we have the capability to send the images to a specialized radiologist for consultation and get results within hours. This is a great diagnostic tool when a second opinion is needed for your pet's treatment plan. Ultrasound We utilize ultrasound technology for routine diagnostics for a range of conditions, such as pregnancy checks to more urgent procedures, such as echocardiograms. Ultrasound is also useful to guide a needle when performing aspirates and tissue biopsies. CT Our hospital is equipped with Computed Tomography (CT) capabilities. More so than standard x-rays, CT gives us the advantage of being able to accurately view into bony cavities (i.e. skull or chest) with a very high level of detail. Animals of all sizes from a mouse to a Great Dane can be scanned for analysis. Typical series last between 20-40 minutes from start to finish. All scans are done with some form of sedation or anesthesia. Schedule ahead for an evaluation by a doctor prior to the series, to determine the best course of action for your individual pet. |
