Veterinarians at
Bright Eyes & Bushy Tails

and

Kolder Pet Hospital

Dr. Allan Berger graduated from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. He practiced in central New York for five years while working towards a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, after which he moved to Iowa to do research in the U. of Iowa's Department of Internal Medicine.

Allan is shown with his dog Bask (short for Baskerville). Bask is renowned for his lack of photogenicity. In "person," Bask is a dog of much higher contrast. [But Allan always looks like that.]

Dr. Allan Berger can be reached by e-mail to ab@BEBT.com.

Dr. Jennifer Berger graduated from Cornell University with a DVM degree in May of 1998. She worked as a small animal clinican at the Abel-Keppy Animal Hospital in Davenport, IA; and then at Tipton Veterinary Clinic in Tipton, IA and part-time at The Animal Cinic in Iowa City, covering weekends and emergencies. What little free time Jenn has is spent with her dogs and horses.

Jenn is shown here with three dogs: (from left to right) Jaxson, Joey, and Tasha.

Not pictured are Jeep, Hazel, and Dot (Border Collies); Rena, Murphy, and Scooter (horses); Gulliver, Mufassa, Scratch, and Lucy (cats). Special mention also to the chickens and the sheep.

Dr. Jenn Berger can be reached at jb@BEBT.com.

Dr. Susan Delaney has lived in the Iowa City area since 1982. Prior to starting her veterinary career, she was a nurse at Mercy Hospital. Sue graduated from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She was an associate veterinarian at Kolder Pet Hospital in West Branch, Iowa since earning her DVM degree, after which she became a partner in Bright Eyes & Bushy Tails. She is also an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoys playing guitar and piano in her free time- unless she's fishing.

Sue is pictured here with her cat Sophie.

Dr. Susan Delaney can be reached at the Iowa City office at 319-351-4256.

Dr. Jennifer Brown moved to the Iowa City area in 1998 after graduating from the Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine. Jen practiced in Solon for years, prior to buying the Kolder Pet Hospital in West Branch. She merged the hospital with Bright Eyes & Bushy Tails in 2006 in pursuit of a little more free time (however we've been busy from the get-go, so it is still a pursuit). She enjoys riding horses and hanging out with her dog Blue and the famous/infamous "BatCat."

Jen is shown here with Blue. BatCat remains unphotographed.

Dr. Jennifer Brown can be reached at 319-351-4256.
