Plans for the future

More will be posted, as things progress...

[Last revised 9/15/05.]

Our recent clinical advancements include:

  • Ultrasound. We started doing abdominal ultrasound in 2001. Dr. Allan Berger is taking a three day training course in cardiac ultrasound in October 2005 so we can expand this service.
  • Endoscopy system. We started doing endoscopy in 2002.
  • Oxygen cage. We have a chamber in which we can control both oxygen concentration and temperature. We have the capability of 10 LPM of continuous 95% oxygen, or 25 LPM of 50% oxygen.
  • Coagulation times. We can monitor blood clotting abilities, which has been a real benefit for catching life-threatening problems before they become a crisis. The ability to monitor blood clotting is complementary to our ability to perform blood transfusions. We are the only clinic in Johnson County to stock fresh frozen plasma for transfusions.

Our biggest plans for the future are a part of the construction of our new hospital at 3030 Northgate Drive. See the new clinic page for more details!
